*Read your book club selection

Thimble Summer- Ch 3-4
Gooseberry Park- Ch 4-6
* Paint your spelling words.  Use big brushstrokes like VanGogh, or Watery colors like Monet.
* Make a painting!
* Read for pleasure.  Read a “just right” book from school, or a book from the library or a favorite at home.

*Do you have a quilt at home?  Look for shapes in the quilt.  Count the triangles, rectangles, squares and other shapes that you find in your quilt.  Bring it to school to share if it’s ok.
*Play some card or board games this week.  Think about how you use math to play.
