Homework Ideas

*practice writing and reading big numbers.  Tell if they are odd or even.

*Think of a weather question and ask it of at least ten people.  Organize your information into a bar graph.  (example: how do you feel about lightning?  Terrified, annoyed, interested.)

*Read through the Eyes to the Sky project assignment with a family member.  Write down a list of topics you might want to learn about.

*Read with someone.  Read a book of your choice.  Don’t forget our “just right” book collection!

*Make Thundercake.

*Write your spelling words three times each. Make lightning-shaped letters.

* Be a cloud watcher.  Notice all of the clouds we studied in the sky.

*Find some poems about the weather.

*Do your own thing.
