Uppers Exhibition Soon: Tues., Jan. 24, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity for parents to view and discuss the work their student has completed during the first semester. Students are asked to share their work portfolios highlighting progress they have made in meeting course expectations. Grades as well as teacher and student reflections on the learning process are included in students’ portfolios. This  sharing is an essential part of our open school learning philosophy, and we ask that ALL parents and guardians come to view their student’s progress.

First shots from our fall photo shoot are up!

Origins has posted the first pictures of our awesome algebrites on line!

Dance Performs Friday at 7:45 a.m.!!

Dance as Art & Culture will perform a West African Lamba for the school at Friday's all-school morning meeting, 11/19/11. Families--come watch! Students--be on time!!

Algebra BIKE DAYS coming up!

On Wednesday & Thursday, Nov. 16-17, we will be exploring gear ratios and how the gear shifters on a bicycle really work. If you can safely ride your bicycle to school on Wednesday, we will all benefit from the use of your bike. We are looking for bicycles with 2 or 3 chainwheels (front gears) and 4-9 freewheels (rear gears). Please bring them directly to Allison's room where you will see them resting against the wall outside room 6. Happy Biking!!

Goal Setting Conferences

It is time to meet and set our goals for the school year.  Click here for more information and for the times and dates of goal setting conferences.

Hopes & Dreams
Students will be bringing home goal-setting updates in early December for families to discuss and sign.
Room 6 came up with some awesome career aspirations, life dreams, & actions we can take now to start to achieve these goals.
