Karate Classes

Barton Community Education in collaboration with MN Karate is offering karate on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, January 27th for students in grades K-8.

Quality karate training will help strengthen your sense of balance, focus, self-esteem, and self-discipline in a non-violent, inclusive environment. Instructors are kid-friendly black belts who emphasize each student’s individual needs, both on and off the karate mat. Students will be challenged physically and mentally through fast-paced classes that combine basic karate punches, kicks, blocks, and self-defense while incorporating body-weight strength and endurance training.
NOTE: There will be testing opportunities for belt advancement. These exams will be conducted during regular class – There is no fee for belt advancement. Please email Aaron Pallesen at aaron@mnkarateandfitness.com for more details. Uniforms are $34 and are required for participants. Instructor: Aaron Pallesen.
