Look how much the garden has grown!!!  The native garden has grown by leaps and bounds while the kids were all off enjoying the summer.  Stop by and see what’s blooming.  There are some colorful asters and black-eyed susans. The monarchs have been visiting our space also!  Coming this fall, Midwest Food Connections will take kids over into the native garden as well as the veggie garden to learn about beneficial insects.

A community ed class will be offered in which there will be a garden art project or two and a plant identification booklet will be created.  Also take a book and leave a book in the Little Free Library barn!  Make sure to look for the clipboard inside and contribute to the “Nature Notes” by jotting down any insect, butterfly or critter sightings!
