Next Wednesday the class will leave for their 3 day camping trip at 8:15am.  Please make sure to send them with their overnight supplies on Wednesday.  We are also still in need of tents for our trip.

All permission slips, forms and background check paper work should have been turned in on Friday to be processed in time for the trip.  If you have not turned it in yet please send it Monday and we will work hard to get it in and processed in time.

In the Classroom This Week:
Swimming: Students did a wonderful job swimming this week.  They had fun being active, learning and working together during this time.

Camping: Students have spent much time this week with Mark’s classroom preparing for our camping trip!  We have discussed meals, planning events, tent mates and done some team building activities and singing.

Math: Algebra!  Students are working on solving algebraic equations as well as solving multi digit multiplication problems.

Literacy: This week students had the opportunity to do 2 different Time For Kid’s activities.  They were able to read about relevant events impacting the world right now as they worked on comprehension and inferring.

Art: Students have been water coloring and drawing in art!  They will be in Art until Tuesday and when they return from camping we will start Media on Tuesday!

Homework:
Read 30 minutes each evening.
