Science Challenge

Science Challenge is 2nd hour as a part of the uppers 14 day rotation for all 7th & 8th graders. This class has four topics:

  1. Physics of Flight
  2. Urban Forestry
  3. The Mississippi River
  4. Fossils.
  • In Physics of Flight we will build either 2 Liter compress air or chemical rockets or propeller driven airplanes.
  • In Forestry we will study the city forests and study tree identification.
  • In the 2nd round of rotation we will study the Mississippi River and the fossils that are found along the banks of the river.  We have an excellent collection of fossils here at school.

I am excited to be able to offer these new science rotation topics.
