Homework Ideas

*Make some decisions about your project.  Collect some facts.

*practice writing and reading big numbers.

*Pick a planet and look up some facts. Bring them to school to share.

*Write a planet or star poem.  You can use alliteration, make it rhyme, or use the “accumulating” style we have been practicing.

*Read with someone.  It can be a book for pleasure or a book from the “just right” library.

*Do your own thing.

* Commit the names and order of the planets to memory.  Try a memory-helper like “My Very Elegant Mother Just Served Us Noodle Pizza.”

*Write your spelling words three times each.  Then, take a practice test at home.  Find out which need more study.

*Be a garden helper on Saturday!
