Camp Pepin Overnight Camping Trip

Next week is the big week! Camp Pepin here we come!

Students have been divided into 2 different groups. The activity groups are a mix of 20 boys and girls, and include students from all 4 classrooms. Each group has 2 - 3 adults assigned to it. There are 6 activities planned, but each student will only participate in 4 activities during the 2 days. That schedule is being organized at the camp. The camp staff will be the activity leaders.

The cabin groups are either all boys or all girls, and may include students from 2 classrooms. Each cabin will have 2 adults with anywhere from 12 - 16 students.

Students should bring a bag lunch for the first day. After that, all meals will be prepared at the camp. The camp is very well set up to handle all dietary restrictions, and we have notified them of our needs. Camping gear should be placed in the front of the building (Colfax Av.) on Thursday morning. Our buses must depart promptly at 7:45, so

that we arrive in time for the morning activities.

If you offered to donate a box of granola bars, they should come to school before Thursday, so we aren’t packing them at the last minute.

If you are sending medication, plan on having it in a labeled ziplock bag. I will need to collect all medication the morning we leave and carry it myself. Do not have it packed in your child’s bag, but rather have it ready to give to me!!

A reminder: We are not bringing bottled water, each child should have his/her own LABELED water bottle for the trip.
