Welcome to the Barton k-6 Science Room

In Science at Barton, the students work inside the classroom, as well as, outside exploring our schoolyard and neighborhood.  The  excitement and hard work I see from students everyday is truly amazing.  They are so positive and willing to learn when they come to science class.  A day in Room 12 may include: looking for animal homes or tracks around the school, having magnet races to learn how magnetic forces feel, or conducting experiments to understand how simple machines help us do work.  These are just a few of the scientific adventures that students will be a part of during their specialist time in Room 12.
