Room 211 at Fort Snelling

Patty's 3rd and 4th grade multiage classroom is a fun and energetic place to learn.
One of the highlights of each week is Thursday Stamp Club. Each child has the opportunity to start a stamp collection. For some this will be a lifelong hobby. For others it is a fun way to learn about many interesting topics. We are finishing up out fall projects now and in January we will be picking a stamp or series of stamps to write a research paper. We will find out why that person or subject is on a stamp!!
Tuesday mornings find us working on

Stamp Collecting
our poetry. Kids are urged to read their poems over and over, frontwards, backwards and upside down until they are memorized.  Here are two current favorites:

Whether the Weather

Or whether the weather be not
Whether the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot__
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not!!

             Someone small
             Someone small
             But a piece
