Report type:  Oral

FCAs (focus correction areas):

  1. 5 pts: Speak loudly and clearly.
  2. 5 pts: Look up from your notes frequently. You do not need to make eye contact if that makes you nervous.
  3. 10 pts: Present information clearly - no confusion.
  4. 12 pts:  Give three reasons, with examples from the book, why people should read your book / it's the best!
  5. 8 pts:  Develop a creative, well done book cover.


October 2011 book report

Due: 10 / 31 / 2011

Report focus: main character

FCAs (focus correction areas):

  1. 15 pts: List 3 adjectives for the main character.
  2. 30 pts: List 6 examples that support your adjectives (2 per adjective).
  3. 5 pts: Use correct capitalization for the Book Title and for proper nouns (people's names).

  1. 20 pts: Follow all directions; write no more than six complete sentences for each story element.
  2. 20 pts: Use correct capitalization (at the beginning of each sentence, for people's names, for specific places like towns, cities, states, countries, some buildings, etc.
  3. 10 pts: Use correct punctuation at the end of sentences (period, question mark, exclamation point).
