3. Barton School Choice Tours for Prospective Parents-November 5, 2019-February 12, 2020

Are you passionate about Barton? Do you want to share the ways in which Barton has created an inner spark for your child(ren) while you've been a parent at Barton? The many ways in which you, as a parent of a Barton student, have felt part of a larger community of lifelong learners and engaged citizens? Then, being a tour guide for perspective parents is the place for you! The Parent Tour Guide team is looking for 5-6 more parents who are willing to commit to 2-3 tour guides per school year rotation (tours begin 11/5/19 and end in mid-Feb). There are about 13 tours in the season before the school choice cards are due in February 2020. Jerri Clark Wagner, parent of a 1st and 6th grader at Barton, has coordinated the parent tours for several years now and provides both a descriptive narrative about Barton for tour guides, as well as a training before the tours start in early November. This year is a great time to commit to student tours, as there are several Barton parents who have been guides for years that are willing to have you shadow them to "train you in" for future years to come. If you feel passionate about Barton and find yourself as a natural ambassador for the school in other ways in your community/other walks of life, then being a tour guide is the place for you! Questions? Please email Jerri at: jerriwagner@gmail.com
