Good morning room 8 families,

We have had a busy week...preparing for CAMPING on Monday! Woo hoo!

Camping: This upcoming Monday (leave 8am), Tuesday, Wednesday (come home before 2pm)

-On Monday morning, students are to go directly to the blacktop by the basketball courts to drop off their luggage and pillow/blankets/sleeping bag. The 5/6 teachers advise students to put sleeping materials in a big trash bag and LABEL it with masking tape (first name, last name, room #). Also please LABEL your child's luggage.

Each class will have a designated spot on the court with a sign that says their classroom (look for room 8) where kids will drop off their stuff. If it's raining, students should come to room with luggage.

After dropping off luggage students are to go to their home room class.

*We need chaperones and parent volunteers to come in the morning to help load the trailers behind busses. Busses should arrive between 7:45-8am. Our plan is to load the busses with luggage, board and head off to Camp St. Croix!

Click here to read a packing list for students... PLEASE remember: NO cell phones, electronics, candy, gum, snacks.

We will arrive back to Barton before 2pm for dismissal on Wednesday, April 20th.

We are very excited...thank you families for helping us make this trip happen! We could not do it without you.
