Schedule of Book Reports 2015-2016


A book report is due each month.  Below is a list of book reports for the year and a brief synopsis of each one.  More detailed directions for book reports will be given at the beginning of each month.

September: Oral Report

        -Book genre-your choice

        -Very short oral report (3-5 minutes)

        -Presentations begin Fri., October 9

October : Flipbook

        -Fictional chapter book

        -Written report on flipbook provided

        -Due Tues., November 10

November: Cube

        -Book genre-fictional chapter book

        -Represent the main parts of the story on a cube provided

        -Due Fri., Dec. 11

December: Take a holiday from book reports.

January: Seven Wonders of the World Project

        -Book Genre-Nonfiction

        -More instructions to follow

        -Due Tues., Feb. 2

February: "I Love to Read" Month ***Changed to Gary Paulsen Book Study, Due 2/19/16***

        -Book genre-fictional chapter book

        -Create a project from a list to be handed out at a later date.

March: Tunnel Books

        -Book genre-Fiction book of your choice

        -Create a diorama, movie poster, newspaper or scrapbook page
